GITE RIVES ET TERRASSE

The location:

The gîte -self-catering cottage- is just ten minutes away from VERDUN and the WWI battlefields.

It is independent, situated next to the house of the owners who will be delighted to answer your questions and help make your stay as successful as possible.

It can accommodate 1 to 5 persons (+ 2 on a sofa bed)

It is composed of:

- a fully equipped kitchen with electric cook-top, refrigerator, dish washer, microwave oven, oven…

- a sitting-room with fireplace and sofa bed. A large bay window leading to a terrace and overlooking the wild Meuse.

- a to or three beds room with bath

- a double room with bath

- a spare room where to store your bikes and fishing rods

- a terrace with garden furniture and barbecue

- an enclosed garden (to be shared with the owners) with games for children.

Equipment :

• TV set (english channels), DVD player, music player
• Washing machine, dishwasher, oven and microwave
• Numerous cooking utensils: coffee maker, toaster, blender...
• Book case

Services:

• Bed linen and towels available
• Baby equipment (high chair, baby bed, plastic cutlery set) available 
• to be requested in the rental contract
• Logs for the fireplace offered

Prices:

• July und August 490 euros per Week (950 for 2 weeks, 1390 for 3 weeks)
• May, June and September 440 euros per Week (850 for 2 weeks, 120 for 3 weeks)
• Other months 390 euros per Week (750 for 2 weeks, 1090 for 3 weeks)

What you should know:

• The owners can speak English and German
• The gîte is non smoking
• Extra charge for electricity

What to do /Where to shop:

In the village: you will find a doctor’s practice, a physiotherapy practice, a camping site.

Canoeing, playing football and basketball are possible. Bike lane. Walking paths and hiking.

Beach football and beach volley are possible in the next village.

In front of the gîte: Angling, rod and reel fishing – paying card compulsoryWalks or rides starting from the gîte

Less than 10 minutes away:Verdun: Battlefields;  water resort, mini golf course, supermarket, Tourist information centre

Less than an hour and a half:   Metz – Nancy – Reims – Paris by TGV ( High speed train)
